Nutrition Program for Fueling Young Minds
Lunch
Lunchtime is an exciting part of the day at New River Child Care/Learning Center! Our well-rounded menus are crafted with your child’s health in mind, making sure they enjoy a delicious mix of nutritious foods. Whether it’s a hearty serving of fruits, veggies, grains, or lean meats, every meal is packed with goodness to keep your child’s body and brain strong!
Snacks
We know that snacks are an important part of your child’s day, so we provide AM and PM snacks that are both fun and nutritious. Enjoy a range of healthy treats like fruits, animal crackers, goldfish, cheese with crackers, and more, all served with refreshing filtered water and 100% apple juice.

Community Involvement
Holiday Toy Drive:
New River proudly hosts an annual holiday toy drive, gathering gifts, toys, games, books, clothes and art supplies to donate to The Hands and Feet. These gifts bring joy and comfort to children in our local foster care homes. Our contributions help create cherished moments and lasting memories for the children that need it most during the holiday season. Canned Goods Drive:
We kick off the Thanksgiving season of giving by contributing to our Harvest Fest Canned Goods Drive! We collect thousands of non-perishable items to support local families in need. Together, we make this Thanksgiving season brighter for everyone.
Special Announcements
This year marks a special milestone for New River Child Care/Learning Center—30 years of providing high-quality child care and early learning in the heart of Fort Lauderdale! We’re proud to celebrate 20 of those years at our previous location (Tutor Time Child Care). Here's to many more years of growth and learning together!
Box Tops For Education
Help us earn cash for the school by clipping Box Tops for Education! Each Box Top earns the school 10 cents. You can find them on items like cereal boxes, zip-lock bags, frozen foods, clothing, and school supplies. It's an easy and fun way to contribute to our school’s needs.
